About Me

Tommie Lyn has made her home in the beautiful Florida panhandle for over 35 years. Her husband of 48 years (and high school sweetheart) retired from the Navy after being transferred here from Okinawa in 1975. Three of her novels and some of her short stories are set in the panhandle.

An avid reader since childhood, she began writing fiction four years ago and writes short stories and novels in a variety of genres: historical, mystery/suspense, supernatural thriller and mainstream fiction. Currently, a showcase of short stories is freely available for readers on her website. Four of her novels are available for purchase from Amazon.com. Encouraging other writers is important to her.

In order to provide that encouragement, she maintains membership in writers' groups. She's been a member of the local Panhandle Writers Group for two years and is a member of online writers' groups as well.

About Me

Consuelo Saah Baehr was born in El Salvador to French/Palestinian parents. At age five she joined her father and five uncles in Washington, D.C. where they ran the prestigious boutique department store, Jean Matou, a favorite of Bess Truman and Jackie Kennedy. Convent boarding schools came next and George Washington University. After college she began writing advertising copy for the Macy Corp. Marriage and three children followed and the writing was silent until a stunning Op-Ed piece in The New York Times brought a flurry of offers from book publishers. The result was the personal memoir, Report From The Heart (Simon & Schuster). Four novels followed: Best Friends (Delacorte/Dell); Nothing To Lose (Putnam's); Daughters (Delacorte/Dell) and 100 Open Houses soon to be a Kindle original.

Daughters, a historical family saga set in pre-war Jerusalem, has been translated into 15 languages. It was published as a Kindle book in late August.

She is a qualified personal trainer, sports and massage therapist, and writes freelance feature articles on health, fitness, and various lifetyle subjects. Prior to this, she also worked for Hertfordshire Constabulary for ten years.

Her first novel, Fourteen Days Later, was short listed for the Harry Bowling Prize 2008 and received a highly commended by the Yeovil Literary Prize 2009. About Me

I am originally from Switzerland but live and work as writer and translator in Santa Monica, California. I divide my time between the United States and Switzerland and I have strong ties to both countries. The tension and excitement this "double life" creates informs my work. Among my many interests, aside from writing, are traveling, studying foreign languages and cultures, drawing and painting, meeting people and forming friendships.

My poems have appeared in various literary magazines and a collection of poems, Path of Fire, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2002. My debut novel, Love of a Stonemason, was published in 2010 and is available as ebook for the Kindle and as trade paperback on Amazon and in various ebook formats on Smashwords and other venues.

About Me

I live in the Pacific Northwest, at the foot of the Cascades in the tiny town of Gold Bar, Washington, with my husband, two children and several nonhuman family members. I'm a transplanted hillbilly, born in Texas, but raised in the hollows and hills of West Virginia, where most of my works are set. I don't limit my writing to any particular genre, although I do have a special love for horror, which I trace back to a childhood of Saturday nights eating Chef Boyardee pizza and watching Chiller Theatre with my mother. Before beginning my second life with my current husband, and settling in to raise my daughter and son, I served in the United States Army, went home to earn my undergraduate and law degrees, and then practiced criminal defense law for more than ten years. After half a lifetime spent doing everything but what I truly wanted to do, I finally just sat down and started writing, and I haven't stopped since.

About Me

I'm funnier on the page than in real life. I love my cat so much I made her the heroine in CATTITUDE. I'm an award-winning writer. I'm published in short stories, non-fiction and greeting card verses. I live in southeastern Wisconsin with my husband, two dogs, and one important cat.

I've published another paranormal romance, DEAD PEOPLE, and a short story, The Seventh Dimension. I'll soon put up a third paranormal romance. I'm looking forward to putting more books for sale. I've been getting great reviews, and I love to hear from readers. You can find out more at my website, http://edieramer.com.

About Me

Like a lot of people, I always wanted to be a writer. Unlike most, because I didn't think I was bright enough to be a writer - I became a geophysicist instead.

I've written a novel, Ninth Lord of the NIght, (action/adventure/supernatural overtones), a nonfiction book about the Maya, titled The Maya, People of the Maize, and a few short stories. Ninth Lord of the Night and my short story, The End of the Tour, are my indie Kindle books.

Ninth Lord of the Night has an interesting history. I self-published it in 2005 and within two months it was optioned for film. In 2006, the Houston area Barnes and Nobles selected it as one of the best novels by a local author. Later that year, I was approached by a traditional publisher who offered to pick it up. I signed on the dotted line and the book sank quickly and never recovered.

Now, I'm back to being an Indie Author and I'm loving it. Both the print and Kindle versions of Ninth Lord of the Night have been released through Amazon and I have 99 cent short story, a mystery titled "The End of the Tour" in the Kindle store as well.

I live in the Houston area with my hubby and our two cats.

I'm married and Hubby and I have two cats.

About Me

Valerie Maarten has been writing ever since she discovered that letters made sounds and a combination of letters made words. It wasn't until recently that she decided to share her work.

She can generally be found with pen and paper in hand, scribbling the next storyline or reading one of her many “favorite” authors. Although she has an eclectic taste in what she reads, there isn't a romance sub-genre that she will pass up.

She currently lives in Orlando, FL with her three sons, plotting to write the next story in her head that needs to be told.

Until then...
